Who Runs the Testing

Our in-house product testing team is led by engineers and technicians who have spent years working with automotive electronics. Every product category has a dedicated tester responsible for verifying compatibility, performance, and reliability.

Testing is not outsourced. The same people who design our products are involved in validating them.

Our Testing Fleet

We maintain a fleet of 7 vehicles spanning different manufacturers, model years, and infotainment systems. This lets us test how our products behave across the widest possible range of real-world conditions.

Sedans & Hatchbacks

Compact and mid-size vehicles with wired CarPlay from factory — the most common upgrade scenario.

SUVs & Crossovers

Larger infotainment screens and multiple USB ports. Tests focus on multi-device pairing.

Trucks

Vehicles with older or aftermarket head units. Tests focus on backwards compatibility.

EVs

Modern infotainment systems with strict power delivery requirements. Tests focus on stability.

How We Test GPS Trackers

GPS trackers require a different testing methodology than audio or video products. Our process includes:

  • Signal acquisition time — measuring cold start and warm start performance in urban and rural environments.
  • Location accuracy — comparing reported coordinates against known reference points.
  • Network reliability — testing 4G LTE connectivity across multiple carriers and regions.
  • Battery life — long-duration tests under real usage conditions.
  • App integration — verifying that the companion app reports data accurately and reliably.

Competitive Devices

We don't just test our own products. For every category, we also test at least two competing devices to understand where our products stand. This is how we identify areas for improvement — and where our products genuinely outperform the alternatives.

We don't publish competitor names in our marketing, but we do use the data internally to inform product decisions.

Test Environment

Our testing happens in real vehicles, on real roads, in real weather. We do not rely on lab simulations for compatibility testing.

  • Urban driving — heavy traffic, tunnels, parking garages, interference from other devices.
  • Highway driving — sustained operation, temperature variation, vibration.
  • Rural driving — weak signal areas, long-duration use.
  • Extreme temperatures — summer heat and winter cold, to verify thermal behavior.
